A Philanthropic Collaboration between North Rim and The Oregon Community Foundation

The Deschutes River meanders along a portion of the northwest boundary of North Rim, providing breathtaking views and a bountiful supply of wildlife habitat. Residents of North Rim have direct access to the 10-mile Deschutes River Trail, a key connection to downtown Bend and a venue for exercise and simple outdoor enjoyment. The river is a valued natural resource that is vital to the health of our region while providing beauty and daily enjoyment for all.

As an example of our dedication to the preservation of the natural environment and conscientious development, we at Brooks Resources decided to make a financial contribution to the Oregon Community Foundation from each developer homesite sale in North Rim. This commitment and partnership led to the establishment of The North Rim Deschutes River Fund at the Oregon Community Foundation. The North Rim Deschutes River Fund at the Oregon Community Foundation is dedicated to improving the stream flow and water quality in the Deschutes River Basin. We are pleased to report that, to date, nearly $800,000 has been gifted to the fund.
